The AmCham Exchange in Phnom Penh has undergone a significant expansion, doubling its capacity and modernizing its design to provide even more opportunities for Cambodia’s youth. During the opening of the newly expanded AmCam Exchange on December 19, Walker stated that the US remains committed to equipping young Cambodians with the tools necessary for success, including educational programs in the US, entrepreneurship, English language learning, and science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

“This centre is more than just a building; it is a gateway to new opportunities and a symbol of the enduring friendship between our two countries,” Walker said.

With its modern design and increased resources, AmCam Exchange serves as a dynamic hub for learning and innovation. As Cambodia and the US mark 75 years of diplomatic partnership, this expansion symbolizes the ongoing strength of people-to-people ties and deepened cooperation between the two nations.

Hang Chuon Naron, Cambodia’s Minister of Education, Youth and Sport, highlighted that the expansion of AmCam Exchange stands as a “tangible symbol” of the deepening friendship between the US and Cambodia.
