BARCELONA — Just days before its official launch, Nothing offered a closer look at the upcoming Nothing Phone (4a) — though not in the conventional way most smartphone makers would choose.

At Mobile World Congress 2026, the London-based tech firm unveiled the remaining color options for its midrange device, gathering attendees around a graffiti-covered shipping container in a brief, characteristically unconventional showcase. While the Phone (4a) took center stage in new hues, its higher-end sibling — the Phone (4a) Pro — remained notably absent.

A Familiar Design in Fresh Finishes

The Nothing Phone (4a) had already surfaced in earlier previews, revealing a design that feels more restrained than some of the brand’s earlier, more experimental devices. The company had previously teased a pink version, but in Barcelona it confirmed two additional colorways: black and blue.

The black finish closely follows Nothing’s established aesthetic, pairing a transparent-inspired back panel with visible internal design elements and subtle industrial detailing. A white option — already seen in leaks — retains the brand’s clean, minimalist approach.

The standout addition, however, is blue.

Unlike the understated black and white versions, the blue model appears to incorporate tinted glass with matching internal components visible beneath the surface. The effect mirrors the pink edition, blending playful color with the brand’s signature semi-transparent styling. Silver and white accent pieces remain integrated into the layout, maintaining visual contrast without overwhelming the design.
