YouTuber Jack Doherty Arrested in Miami on Drug Possession Charges
YouTube star Jack Doherty was arrested early on Saturday morning in Miami, facing drug possession charges, according to local authorities. The 22-year-old influencer was filming video content when the incident occurred, with police saying he was blocking traffic in the middle of the road.
Police documents indicate that Doherty was attempting to engage with officers in a manner typical of his often provocative online persona. After his arrest, officers searched Doherty and found what they described as “half of an orange, oval-shaped pill with the number 3 imprinted on it,” consistent with a Schedule II amphetamine. The search also turned up three suspected cannabis cigarettes.

Doherty is best known for his outrageous prank videos, which often push the limits of what’s considered acceptable. His YouTube channel, with more than 15 million subscribers, includes titles like “I Got Kicked Off a Cruise” and “I Crashed Into a Cop Car.” These high-risk stunts have earned him millions of followers across social media, including 10 million on TikTok and 2.8 million on Instagram.
The influencer has built his reputation on creating confrontational and sometimes controversial content. He frequently films himself provoking strangers on the street before retreating behind his bodyguard, making his videos both shocking and attention-grabbing.
As of now, it’s unclear whether Doherty has secured legal representation. A request for comment made to a representative listed on his social media accounts has not been answered.
Doherty’s arrest has sparked conversations about the consequences of his online behavior, with fans and critics alike closely watching how this legal matter unfolds.
