Roku Adds 30 New Streaming Bundles With Big Savings
Roku is expanding its subscription business with a major new streaming strategy, introducing 30 new bundle combinations that allow customers to combine several entertainment services through its Premium Subscriptions platform.

The new Roku streaming bundles are launching in the United States and give viewers another way to manage multiple subscriptions from a single platform. Depending on the combination selected, Roku says customers can save as much as 30% compared with subscribing to the services separately.
The move comes as streaming companies increasingly turn toward bundles to attract subscribers and reduce the cost and complexity associated with maintaining several individual services.
Among the services included in Roku’s new combinations are AMC+, FOX One, STARZ, Hallmark+ and Howdy. Customers can select from more than 30 combinations available through Roku’s subscription marketplace.
Roku Streaming Bundles Bring Multiple Services Together
Roku’s new Roku streaming bundles are part of Premium Subscriptions, the company’s subscription marketplace that allows users to sign up for entertainment services through the Roku platform.
The bundles are designed to give viewers more flexibility while keeping billing and subscription management within the Roku ecosystem. They can be discovered in several areas of the platform, including the Subscriptions Destination, Streaming Store and Premium Subscriptions Home.
Instead of paying separately for each streaming service, customers can choose a combination that fits their viewing habits. Roku says users can also change their subscriptions when needed, making the system more flexible than traditional fixed bundles.
The company has positioned the offering as a response to the increasingly fragmented streaming market, where consumers may need several subscriptions to access different shows, movies, sports and other programming.
Savings Can Reach 30 Percent
One of the main attractions of the new Roku offering is the potential savings.
Roku says the new combinations can reduce the cost of subscriptions by up to 30% compared with purchasing the individual services separately. The exact savings depend on the services included in a particular package.
That discount could become particularly relevant as consumers look for ways to control monthly entertainment expenses.
Streaming has changed significantly from the early days of a single major subscription replacing traditional cable. Viewers now have access to a large number of specialized platforms, but subscribing to several of them can quickly increase the total monthly bill.
Bundling gives companies a way to address that problem while encouraging customers to maintain multiple subscriptions.
Which Services Are Included?
The new Roku combinations include several entertainment brands that operate independently in the streaming market.
AMC+ is among the services available, alongside FOX One and STARZ. Hallmark+ and Howdy are also part of the new offering.
The mix gives customers access to different types of programming rather than concentrating entirely on one genre.
Roku has not simply created one universal package for everyone. Instead, the company is offering multiple combinations, allowing viewers to choose according to their interests.
That approach is an important part of the company’s strategy because streaming customers often have very different viewing habits. Someone interested in scripted entertainment may want a different combination from a household focused on lifestyle programming, sports or family content.
Roku Wants More Customers to Subscribe
The new bundles also serve a larger business goal for Roku.
According to data from research firm Antenna supplied by Roku to Deadline, 76% of Premium Subscription sign-ups are incremental, meaning those customers would not otherwise have signed up directly with the streaming service. Roku also said 98% of subscribers were new to the particular service they joined through the platform.
Those figures help explain why Roku is expanding its subscription marketplace.
For streaming companies, acquiring new subscribers can be expensive. A platform such as Roku can potentially provide another route to reach customers who might not visit each service individually.
Roku’s role therefore extends beyond providing streaming hardware and a television operating system. Its subscription marketplace is becoming another part of the company’s business.
Streaming Bundles Are Becoming More Common
Roku’s announcement comes during a broader shift toward streaming bundles.
Amazon Prime Video introduced a five-service bundle in the United States earlier in September, combining AMC+, BritBox, MGM+, PBS Masterpiece and STARZ for $29.99 per month. Amazon said the package represents a savings of nearly 39% compared with subscribing to the services individually.
The competing announcements highlight how streaming platforms are increasingly looking for ways to package multiple services together.
For consumers, the appeal is straightforward: fewer individual subscriptions to manage and potentially lower combined costs.
For streaming companies, the strategy can provide another path to subscriber growth while keeping users inside a particular ecosystem.
Roku’s Subscription Business Continues to Grow
Roku’s push into bundling follows strong growth in its subscription operation.
The company said Premium Subscriptions recorded its highest number of sign-ups during the first quarter. Subscription revenue reached $518.5 million, representing a 30% increase from the same quarter a year earlier.
Roku has also surpassed 100 million global households, according to figures reported by Deadline.
That large audience gives the company a substantial base for expanding subscription services.
Randy Ahn, Roku’s vice president and general manager of subscriptions, told Deadline that the company had extensively tested the new bundles before launching them.
The testing reflects the importance of finding combinations that customers are willing to purchase rather than simply placing unrelated services into a single package.
What the New Roku Bundles Mean for Viewers
For Roku users, the biggest change is the ability to combine participating streaming services through the platform.
Roku already allows customers to subscribe to selected services through its system, with subscriptions managed through Roku accounts. The company says users can manage or cancel eligible subscriptions through Roku.
The new bundles build on that existing system by combining services into discounted packages.
The strategy also gives Roku another way to compete in a streaming market where companies are increasingly fighting for customers’ monthly entertainment budgets.
As more platforms experiment with bundles, consumers may have more options for deciding how they spend their streaming money.
For now, Roku’s launch represents a significant expansion of its Premium Subscriptions business. With 30 combinations available in the U.S. and savings of up to 30%, the company is betting that convenience and lower combined prices will encourage more viewers to subscribe through its platform.
