By combining Elumenati’s GeoDome family and OmniLED Panorama systems with OceanX’s $200 million research and media vessel, OceanXplorer, the partnership translates complex scientific discoveries into educational journeys that captivate audiences worldwide.

OceanX leverages multiple Elumenati technologies:

• GeoDome Portal: A portable dome for small groups, offering interactive, behind-the-scenes ocean exploration.

• GeoDome Panorama: Curved-screen experiences for communal, interactive learning.

Portability Meets Impact

Portability was key for OceanX. The GeoDome Portals are inflatable or semi-permanent, easy to set up in under two hours by a small team, yet deliver cinematic, high-impact experiences. This flexibility allows OceanX to bring ocean exploration to schools, community spaces, and global events, making marine science accessible to diverse audiences.

Shared Exploration with GeoDome Panorama

To complement the portable Portals, OceanX also uses GeoDome Panoramas in its travelling exhibitions. Inspired by the National Geographic series OceanXplorers, these immersive installations allow visitors to explore interactive replicas of the OceanXplorer and simulate deep-sea missions. By prioritising shared experiences over individual VR, OceanX ensures a communal and inclusive approach to ocean education.
