Mohamed Salah Apologises to Liverpool Team-mates After Explosive Comments, Says Curtis Jones

Mohamed Salah has apologised to his Liverpool team-mates after his explosive comments about the club earlier this month, according to Curtis Jones. Salah had criticized Liverpool’s handling of his situation, feeling “thrown under the bus” after being left out of the Champions League squad. The comments raised concerns about his future at the club.

However, Jones revealed that Salah addressed the situation directly with the squad, saying, “If I’ve affected anybody, I apologise.” Jones added that Salah’s frustrations came from a desire to win and that the team has now moved past it.

“We’re past that now. We’re playing well and winning games,” Jones said.

Liverpool manager Arne Slot also played down the issue, stating, “Actions speak louder than words,” referencing Salah’s return to action in the Brighton game.

Salah will miss Liverpool’s upcoming match against Tottenham due to his call-up for the Africa Cup of Nations with Egypt.
