Cambodian authorities have deported 312 Chinese nationals linked to online scam operations, as part of a wider crackdown on cybercrime.

The General Department of Immigration under the Ministry of Interior confirmed the deportations in a statement posted on its Facebook page.

Officials said the move followed directives from Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sar Sokha and senior ministry leaders. The operation was carried out under the instruction of Immigration Director General Lieutenant General Sok Vasna, in coordination with the Chinese Embassy.

All 312 individuals were male. They were deported on special chartered flights via Techo International Airport.
